Kidney Cancer Awareness Week

Did you know?
There are around 13,300 new kidney cancer cases in the UK every year. Kidney cancer is the 7th most common cancer in the UK, accounting for 4% of all new cancer cases (2016-2018).1

Prevalence of kidney cancer in the UK:

Despite the growing incidence, the 2019 Kidney Cancer Patient Survey in the UK reported that almost half of patients are diagnosed at stage 3 or 4 of the disease. This is a real cause for concern. This calls for an increase in uptake on modern treatment standards and earlier diagnosis.2

This Kidney Cancer Awareness Week, let us come together to make as much noise and raise as many hot kidney cancer topics as possible, and bring awareness of kidney cancer to everyone.3

Join hands to spread the message: ‘Early diagnosis saves lives’.
